Disney has always given me these unrealistic hair goals.
Forget the Prince Charming, I’d rather be a princess with perfect bouncy curls.
Sigh. Since the Santa wasn’t generous enough, I had to deal with my brittle, not
so shiny hair on my own. I just had to figure out how Rapunzel treated
her hair for the kind of gloss and length. *cries*
Okay, that was a metaphoric approach to my misery. I needed
to combat dandruff, loss of hair and shine some way or the other. So, I decided
to go all natural on my hair. Trust me, no amount of artificial therapy helped
me, whatsoever.
If you really, desperately need to grow hair worth a T.V
commercial then you seriously need to give this a shot. Disclaimer: if you’re
disgusted easily and are allergic to eggs, please leave now. This method
includes a huge amount of goo and smell.
Eggs are smelly, I wouldn’t even try to make this sound
better but you need to apply an egg at least twice a week to get rid of
dandruff. I have tried this remedy and I swear by the old Gods and the new, one
wash- the slimy material is gone; second wash- the smell leaves your hair.
Aleovera is rightfully claimed to be the most amazing thing
for your skin and scalp. This one smells too but is slightly bearable. Once
dried, the smell leaves instantly. Before every wash, you need to apply it
on your scalp and hair roots. Take my word over thicker hair texture.
I know for sure that yogurt was used by all the Princesses
for the light softness. I can’t even put how amazingly soft your hair feels
just after a single wash. I usually leave it on for 30-35 minutes and apply it
twice a week.
Here comes the gooiest of all- the mixture of all three! I
was brave enough to actually try this. If you haven’t done this ever then trust
me and take the plunge. Mix the egg, yogurt, and aleovera together, dip the brush
applicator and carefully apply the goo into the roots and cover your hair with a
plastic cap. All the gorgeousness will spill over once you thoroughly wash and
blow-dry.
You have to try this! My hair feels oh my god so freaking
light every time I go through this torture. Trust me the results are worth
every cringe. Many times, your body isn’t getting the correct form of
nutrition that is required by your hair. Here, I have also taken hair
supplements to help me through the hair growth regime.
